Anyone have any good advertising ideas for a home based scrapbooking business?

To get people to come to parties, crops, buy my creations?

Some offer free meeting space for scrapping groups, and they advertise special parties with demonstrations and discounts. Some of them have their own club with special deals like getting to shop for new items before the general public does.

Usually your local pennysaver or other free publication will have reasonable ad rates, or you can put up posters inviting people to a party.

You could also launch a website. You could do business worldwide if you have something nobody else has, or if your prices are cheaper than anyone else's. You could let your customers show off their stuff on your website.

i found this to work like magic!! here is what you do, go to your local bank,store, pharmacy ect..wherever you know somebody there, make them a little gift, something you want to sell, and bring it to them "just because", they will love that you gave them a gift and the bonus for you is this, their coworkers will be jealous and will want one and so will the customers that see the item, ask the person that you give it to to please tell anybody that wants one to contact you and baddaboom! you have generated sells for no advertising fee, only costed you the price of the materials to make the item and your time..hope this helps, it helped me a whole lot, give it a try and watch the phone calls pour in..

I would say put an ad in your local newspaper, make posters and put them in hot spot areas in your town, tell people (word of mouth always spreads fast, sell at a local shop or church sale or see if you can sell at a local craft show. Hope this helps :)

hire google for local advertising.....or me ....
