I think its a bad idea as it will just create bad feeling & vigilante behaviour. Its also putting some responsibility on the public. Why do we need to know who they are, when they shouldn't even be in public in the first place? Why aren't these people behind bolted doors where they should be? Why aren't these people treated by experts, monitored & tagged so that their every move is under close surveylance? Why aren't these people castrated? How is giving them a 'special badge' going to help the public? They shouldn't BE in public.
These people should be forced into hard labour in sweat factories just to earn their keep & never be released into the open world. Maybe then they'd think twice before they decided to violate the life of an innocent child.

Well, I suppose anything to bring attention to the pieces of garbage is a good thing.
If the legal system won't execute them quickly, I don't see why the filth cannot be confined to a tiny room with only a cot and a toilet. No television, no visitation, no windows, noexercise, etc. for the rest of their nasty lives. Pedophiles do not need to be walking the streets, or driving for that matter. They destroyed their own humanity when they decided to hurt children.

It's a step..but I don't think alot of them drive..a tattoo on the forehead would work much better! Face it, child molesters do not spend 24/7 in the car, and I think most of them would just get someone else to put the car in another persons name to aviod having the green plates..

Only if abortion doctors get a colored license plate too! With sex offenders, at least MOST of the children get to live afterward!
It makes it easier for predators to contact each other to organize against such laws.
It is illegal to contact them via the addresses listed on the websites, but it wouldn't to leave flyers on their auto's.
