I just answered a this type of question for you. It doesn't matter if you weigh 98 or 198, anybody can get cramps. Age, height nor weight has anything to do with it. read the answers to your other question. I think you will find it helpful.

Size does not matter. Blood sugar might. Fat people are more likely to have blood sugar issues than skinny people, but skinny people can have blood sugar issues too.

Cramps can be part of the normal period cycle. Estrogen fades as you get ready to start a period. Estrogen helps keep insulin under control. Insulin, thus, can go wild. The purpose of insulin is to open the "cell's mouths" to let food and water in. Thus, right before your period, insulin is madly tucking food and water in cells, causing bloating and weight gain. If insulin takes too much "food" out of the blood stream, the muscles may not get enough and can signal this by cramping.

This "lack of food" (blood glucose) is partially responsible for the emotional swings women can experience and other symptoms of PMS.

You are too thin for your age and height. I'm not sure that is the reason why your cramps are bad though. After your period is over, do tummy flattening and tummy stretching exercises everyday for at least 5 minutes. This should lessen your cramps during your next period.

Avoid caffeine (Colas and Mountain Dew are full of caffeine) and junk food. Eat only healthy foods.

good Luck.

I don't think it would be a significant factor. People of all sizes get bad period cramps. But if you think it is caused by something more serious than simple periods, then weight either way might be an aggravating factor or similar symptom (for example somebody with PCOS might get bad cramps and also be overweight).
