Most Hyped - LeBron James (Has exceeded expectations placed upon him but the hype he generates are legend material.)

Most Popularity - Kobe Bryant (Way too popular for a player who hasn't been able to take his team past the 1st round of the playoffs since Shaq left the building.)

Most Credit - Dirk Nowitzki (Lead his team to the NBA Finals last year, lead his team to the best record this season, and even won the regular season MVP award but where was Dallas in the playoffs this year?)

Kobe Bryant. He is good, but not great. Shouldn't be mentioned with jordan. He wasn't even the best player on the team when he did win. If shaq had stayed in orlando, wed be constantly comparing t-mac to jordan. Kobe was and is nothing more than a perennial all-star without shaq. Of course hes going to score 50+ points often, he takes every shot and plays like a selfish 7th grader.

Tracy McGrady. He has to advance in the playoffs. Lebron is not overrated. He just carried a team on his back to the FINALS and either got tired, distracted, or showed us for the first time that he is human. He deserved all of the popularity and credit he got because he completely lifted a city.

Labron James - No doubt about this one guys.
Sure he has amazing stats and all. But who does he have on his team to share the ball with. MJ had a Scottie Pippen and MJ still dominated the game. When Lebron gets his "Sidekick" his stats will fade away.

Kobe is no where near overrated. Just watch one game of his, just one game on live TV. You will be transformed into a Bryant fan. He can make shots from everywhere on the court with a hand in his face.

Gilbert Arenas. People think he's a top ten player, but he's just a great shooting scorer. What else can he do? Nothing. Michael Redd is another example of a great shooting scorer, but do you ever hear anything about Redd? No. Also, Arenas was very undeserving of covering NBA Live 2008. They should have stuck Timmy Duncan on there for 2008.

In NBA Live 07- Kevin Garnett. He has like a 99 rating (for those of u not familiar with ratings in NBA Live, 99 is the highest rating a player can get) and in the real world he does not live up to that rating at all.

In the real world- Lebron James. As much as it kills to say that considering I am a fan of Lebron, he is overrated. I'm not saying he is not a good player but he has always had too much hype in his NBA career especially when he first came into the league. He is good but not great.

Lebron James going to the finals is good but still he had a lot of supporting players who i think could have made it close but if he doesnt give anyone the ball he can go out and score 50 but he has to take 50 shots too

I hate to say it, but I would have to say Lebron.

Yes, he is a GREAT player, and may one day be one of the best, if not THE best of all time, but as of RIGHT NOW I would say he is overrated. well, overrated might not be the right word... maybe more like over-hyped.

He is one of the best in the game, and just got a Cavaliers team to the finals pretty much single-handedly, so I am NOT saying he is not a good player, but he gets way too much hype.

Carmelo Anthony- He shoots the ball about 40-50 times a game and makes like a third of those, that's it.
