Call the police and tell them what happened. Then find a way to leave withthe children quietly and stay in a womens shelter until the courts work out a restraining order. If he did this too you once, he will do it again. Get out while you can...

This all depends on what country you live in, and if you speak the local language.

First, call a friend, any friend - and document the incident. Take photographs, and get yourself immediately to the local hospital, so that you have a recorded incidence.

In the US and through out Europe, help is available. You need to find a source for local womens and childrens services. These exist throughout the industrialized world.

If you are fortunate enough to be anywhere within the EU, you will recieve emergency shelter for you and your family, and he will be required to pay for your maintanance until your youngest child is 18 or out of University.

I'm sorry - but if I don't know what country you are in, there isnt much else that I can do to guide you.

Your in a tough situation. Your in his country and have no money. Stay calm. Whatever you do, dont let him know that you want to leave. Play mind games with him. He will be very curious to see how you've reacted to him hitting you. 'Pretent. Say its fine. You dont care. You deserved it.' He'll be delighted that he has so much control over you. Save up some money, try to contact a friend or your family back home. If the authorities there wont help you, its likely that they wont, try to escape yourself with the kids.
Plan. plan. plan. Save your money and some night, maybe weeks from now, leave while he's asleep.
Its the only way. If he knows you want to leave he may lock you in the house.
If you cannot leave the country with the kids without his permission you may have to flee yourself. Dont worry, your not abandoning them forever. Go back home and get help and money. Im sure you could always return and get them back. Its better for you and the kids in the long run.
This must be so hard for you and my heart goes out to you. Hang in there. God there is so much hurt in the world, I wish I was near you so I could help. This is the best I can do though......good luck

Tell him you need to go to the market for food or something. Then while you are gone, try to contact an agency that helps get women and children into safe housing (shelters) which are FREE. Especially in your situation. Maybe you can have a police officer escort you and your children to the shelter so you're husband can't find you and you can be safe. Please don't stay. It only gets worse. I will pray for you and your children's safety! It may take a bit of effort to work out the plan. What country do you live. I will try to look up some type of help for you

What country are you in? Some people will think it doesn't matter but it does. Depending on the country and how women are treated the police may or may not help. Call your family from your home country. Go to your embassy. Get help ASAP.

go to the police, report it.......build a case and leave! No child needs to be around that EVER not even once and nor do you. There are ways to leave the country with out his permission. Is he on the birth certificate?

It really depends on where you are actually.

What I would suggest is call your embassy and ask what they can do for you. As I understand it, when someone marries off a foreigner and stays in their spouse's country, their government checks up on the status of their citizen.

Try it. Perhaps they'd be able to assist you. Especially now that you have evidence of your husband's abuse.

I'll pray for you.

Order of protection in the courts. report him to the cops and have him removed immediate. Do this in conjunction with family services and the courts so you can get support. He is very dangerous!

called the police and have a medical checkup on your injuries or bruises. the court will issue or lay a rule to him that he cannot hit or injure you anymore. then seek for marriage counsellor. Btw one more question, there must be some reason why he suddenly hit you! did you scold him or said something that trigger him to???
