If you travelling to Dubai on a visit visa then you should take a round trip air ticket. You can either refund (or extend the validity of the return ticket) later if you got a work visa and not willing to go back.

All the best.

You can only get a refund on the return flight if you buy a full fair ticket. Of course those are very expensive. Otherwise if you call and cancel the return portion, the airline will charge you a fee, and give you a credit for the balance that has to be used within a year.

Check with your airline, as they all have different rules on how this works.

As long as a person has a valid visa he/she isn't a illegal. It's also not illegal to search for a job while on a visit visa but it's illegal to worlk without a work permission. If you have proof of any illegals in the country or illegal activities, just approach the next police station. If in Dubai, call Al Ameen Service: 800 4888
