okay nash lines means that his (charles') life was well balanced or the flaws and high points in his life was at equal proportions as exemplified by the line "i have chip on both shoulders" which denotes at equal proportions or balanced. {excuse if the word balanced etc were excessively used i cant find synonyms]

The last two lines means that Charles has a mind that could think farther than an average thinker does but he is stoic or not good in showing emotions and feelings like love etc.

Hi
The conversation is mixing old saying's with joke's .
"A chip on your shoulder" is a saying, an expression. It means someone is bitter or holding a grudge against the world. He is using the expression and turning it into a joke, by saying he has a chip on both shoulders, so he is more bitter than most people.

A 'Helping' is like a portion of food or an amount of drink. His teacher is referring to his creation perhaps by god who gives us our 'helpings' of heart and brain and everything. She is basically telling him he is very clever but he is not a very nice person because he was given double brains and half a heart.

You should read John Nash's autobiography. It is very informative about his work and personal life, the movie glosses over some aspects to his insanity to the point of being inaccurate. He wasn't a very good student until he was 13, and was actually thought of as being retarded. When he went to a baseball game, he became fascinated with game statistics. he developed most of his mathematical theorems around those. Many schools rejected him because of his poor showing in some subjects, and earlier problems. He managed to apply his game theory to the subject of international currency, and that paper of economic equilibrium was his greatest achievement (and way outside his normal field of study).
