ok you have an infection.. when you got your belly button peirced did they give you something to clean it with every morning and night?
ok, if so have you been using it?
if not, you need to go to a doctor and get prescribed medicine or something for it!
if so, you need to stop use go back to wear you got it pierced, show them your belly button and make them pay for your doctors visit! :)

Either way go to the doctor and gettin it cleaned out!!

No! Soap and clean water are almost never a bad idea. If you have yellow gooey stuff coming out of it, then you have an infection... I would get myself to a doctor if I were you ..............Best of luck!

if it's small amounts of non-smelling creamy-white goo, it's nothing to be worried about - this is normal in a healthy healing piercing.

if it smells, or it's red, inflamed-looking and hurts a lot, first stop is to go and see your piercer to make sure it's ok - if it's infected, the worst thing you can do is take it out, this just traps the infection inside your skin and obviously does no good at all. they'll then tell you if it's infected, and what to do if so.

It is called an infection....that happens when you pierce body parts (including the ears). The body does not like foreign objects and will reject them.
