Not in my office, lol. It depends, on the employer, the more classy ones w/ designs more like sandals should be okay, or if you have a dress down day, flip flops might be okay. They are in no way professional though.

not really , unless you're a life guard or work on the beach.
wear thongs, or sandals, more formal alternatives .
play it safe unless you see your boss or half of the staff in flip flops and you're from the younger generation .
i prefer walking shoes , sandals or thongs to work , usually shoes to cover my feet to avoid infection and dirt .

I doubt it - most employers consider them dangerous, flip-flops aren't up to OSHA standards

i work at home...i usually go barefoot but i can wear anything...i'll try flip flops tomorrow...
