Every summer my rather intelligent fiance by the sad misfortune of fate is a teacher and has too much free time to regresses into the Grateful Dead lifestyle cult. I can't take it anymore!!! The music is so terrible you'd have to be high to listen to it. I am a great collector of classic rock albums myself. His beautiful head of hair now looks like it belongs to a rejected fellow who tried out for the role of one of the 12 apostles. There is nothing here but trouble, bad drugs, sloppy & dirty behavior and it is just gross. How could a docile lover of history get sucked into this cult? Free love my a s s. These guys know how to make a buck. I'll bet there's ad below now!Jerry is dead but his pals still invade our areas with a disturbing frequency. Okay, long hair on men sucks, you look gross, and have no talent!! I'd rather go out to a nice dinner than spend a weekend like a cave-dwelling pig.
I opened the question up again because some jerk put an ad for Grateful Dead crap here before

I love the Greatful Dead - they are not my fav though. I did see them in the US a few times for some outdoor shows. I wear tie-dye all the time so a lot of people think I'm a dead head!

Love the Dead - It's the living I have problems with.

Even though you sound like a pleasant person, you have some issues that need to be dealt with. Why do you hate the 12 apostles, too?

Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair.

Most people would rather have a nice dinner than spend a week-end like a cave-dwelling pig. We just don't feel the need to tell everyone, because it's like obvious.

Sugar Magnolia, blossom to ya. She can make happy any man alive

Are you sure you're the right person for him? 'Cause you kinda sound like a *****. Being a teacher IS NOT a misfortune - it's a blessing. And he listens to music that promotes love and kindness while you spew hate. I hope he gets a chance to read this and runs far far away before you guys walk down the isle.

You don't have to like nor listen the The Grateful Dead...this is not a question and it shouldn't be posted here. If you don't like something or someone don't listen to them or give them your time. This is not the place for this.

tisk tisk.....The Dead were one of the most influential bands back in the 60's-80's. although this isnt the genre of music that you enjoy they have a fanbase of millions who absolutely love them. If ya want to listen to crappy music turn on the radio and tune it to mainstream pop/rock...........R.I.P Jerry

*sigh*, "...just give me that ol' fashion rock-n-roll....''

Music died in 1987....and I wouldn't call me grateful.....

As far as your husband, he misses a really cool time in history as I do. I don't know how to tell you to weather this storm, luv, you have my sympathies....the era had it's time, and it's time is over.
