Any change to the text, images, format, keywords, meta statements will change the search engine results.

Why anyone would shift to HTML from PHP is beyond my understanding the output (end result) is all HTML. PHP just allows alot of flexibility that HTML doesn't.

Most search engines nowadays work on popularity. The more popular a site is, the higher up the list it will be. If you are only getting 50 or 100 hits a month then you aren't likely to get to the top. Some search engines take into account how many other pages link to your site. It is therefore a good idea to get your website address spread about the internet a bit. Try looking for websites that offer classified ads or something. Also, there is a website somewhere that allows users to post quotes for building works so that others can get an idea of how much things cost. I don't know whether or not that one has a classified section and unfortunately can't remember the address.

If the keyword density ,etc changes, your rank may fall. I would recommend you to consult a SEO expert. Check freelance websites like http://getafreelnacer.com/
