There is an urban legend that his grandmother was made pregnant by a Jewish businessman she did housekeeping for. I recently watched a biographic on the History Channel about his family and his ancestry. They touched on this momentarily, giving the businessman's name as Schickelgreuber. There is also some indication that he was a battered child, and abused children often grow up to be monsters. American prisons are full of them...

Eugenics, the study of hereditary improvement of the human race by controlled selective breeding, is a key to understanding why Hitler had a grudge against the Jews.
The grudge was also against anyone that he thought would dilute the Teutonic (German) race. So the ethnic cleansing/eugenic plan was to exterminate any group considered inferior, and this included Romas and the mentally ill.
There are religious associations, but these are less significant. Hitler apparently refused to believe that Jesus was a Jew, which is weird.

Just one thing.. Its just not Hitler who hated the Jews, there was a huge anti Jew sentiment and Hitler used that.
Imagine this, there is a huge population of your countrymen who are jobless and are struggling and your country's economy is in the dumbs but one set of immigration community is doing just fine and are having no economic troubles. Naturally there will be a spite against that community. Couple this with the fact , that that ethnic community did not take any active part in the war in which your country lost badly, there will naturally be a huge degree of anger in the masses and a good politician can always use this volatile situation.

I am not sure how correct this is and hopefully someone will give the correct information......
When Hitler was a small boy, his family were very poor and he often had to go without various things. He saw the Jewish all having so much more than he did. The reason that the Jewish people had more, was that they worked together as a community. Hitler resented this.

Hitler hated the jews because he needed a demon. It takes certain actions to rise to power in a ravaged country and quickly turn it into a world power. One of those is making a bad guy. Giving the people someone to hate and blame.

Hitler did not only hate jews, he hated everyone that did not accept his way of life. It just so happened that jews were the majority of people there.

Some say it is because it is not clear who his grandfather from his father's side was. So it could have been a Jew called Rothchilde. Combined with his hatred towards the sex industry, you get some kind of an answer.
