Closer - actually two love triangles
or Match Point
Both paint very realistic pictures of the emotions and turmoil that go along with infidelity. Most films will glorify one side or the other of the triangle, when in reality most affairs just end up being ugly situations for everyone involved.
The Good Girl also portrays a very realistic affair situation, but it's just not that great of a movie at all.
Anyway, I would recommend any of these movies for anyone considering an affair, because they might just be able to talk you out of it and save you a lot of grief.

I think the best one would have to be Electric Dreams. It was made in 1984 and is a story about Miles, a guy who falls for his neighbour, Madeline, and wants to impress her so he gets his super intelligent computer to compose songs for her. The computer, "Edgar" is so smart that it falls for the girl too. Edgar is not a happy computer; there is a bad virus going through his circuits, and Edgar sets out to ruin any chance of Miles and Madeline staying together. It sounds wacky, but makes a great story.
The soundtrack was great with several popular rock and New Wave musicians of the 1980s contributing original music to it.

Casablanca...........just imagine if Jack Sparrow really did love Elizabeth, and she loved him too, but still saved Will, and made sure she would stay with him, before he went and tried to take on the royal navy.
granted, it takes place in North Afica, 1942, but you get the idea.
