does anyone here suffer from heavy periods,if so how do you cope,i suffer and i hate it,got any advice,thanks

I also hate it. And know all the problems it causes. I even avoid going out if I can help it. I've heard some women say birth control pills help. I myself don't see why I should take birth control pills if I had a tubal ligation done.

I always had heavy periods from the time I started menstruating. When I turned 18, I started taking birth control pills and it helped.
You need to speak to your doctor about this. Heavy periods can lead to anemia. They can do a blood test for that.

Yes, I have and birth control pills have helped me out some. This definitely needs to be evaluated by your dr to see what they think is going on.
In the mean time you can try increasing the level of iron that you take in during that time by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course). I tried this about two years ago and found that it helped to ease the flow of my periods.

Your doctor can give you a med to slow it down. The only side effect I had was dry mouth and it did help.

i use to but the pill help and have lots of iron and take iron
pills they are nasty trust me but they work.
