Try pushing it up further then give it a quick yank and see if it comes down and dont put it up there again,you will cause damage

Chimney was going to be MY answer....ahhh try jiggling it out of there. Spray some W-D 40 up your chimney to kinda oil the cleaner end.

Leave it there and turn it on blow to get rid of all the soot then pull it out as hard as you can.
But be careful of a back draft with the soot.
