I doubt they'll be trading him anywhere anytime soon like Phil said this coming October Kobe will still be a Laker.

Hi All,
This is business and all these stuff expected. My point here is what ever people like to comment on it or say about Kobe. I am sure nobody can deny the fact that Kobe was and he is among the best basketball player/entertainer right now. And he is just a human being and all these happened. He's been through a lot of hell of a time though he has been doing his best for the basketball fan and entertain every onlookers. Let's just imaging and think by putting ourself in his place then say something genuinely. Every business has a management team with big big bosses and they have a ability to sort out the situation that's why they are paid for. Let's hope for the best to the organization and the bottom line is wherever Kobe goes, I love him and the way he play.

Every time Kobe opens his mouth he lowers his trade value. People say that he won't dog it and not give his 100% effort because he cares too much, but they also said the same thing about Vince Carter in Toronto so nobody knows what another will do to get traded. The Lakers may not want to trade him, but they're gonna get to the point where they have to and they won't be able to get anything for him. Look at the 76ers. For years Iverson would complain about a trade and the team not winning, and the 76ers wouldn't move him despite all of these teams linning up with awesome trade for him. Then, when they decided to trade him, they actively shopped him only to find out that there were only two teams interested, the Bobcats and the Nuggets, and who did they get for him? Cap space, bullcrap draft picks, and Andre Miller?!?!?!? If they'd have done the trade in the offseason they'd have gotten Paul Pierce and the pick that ended up being Brandon Roy, which they would have traded for Randy Foye. The Lakers are in danger of doing the same thing now with Kobe. If they were to make the deal now they could get prime talent from the Bulls, like Gordon and possibly Deng (though I doubt it) and the ninth pick in the draft. They are so concerned with getting equal talent that they won't do it now though, until eventually they will have to tarde him and they won't be able to get anything for him.
Of course after the Caron Butler for Kwame Brown trade, should we expect anything smart from Mitch Kupchek?

yes and to chicago. I want to see him fail in Chicago with an pretty good supporting cast just to show Kobe fans MJ is better. If he couldnt get at least to the Eastern Conference Finals with Ben Wallace and Kirk then when will he?(pretty sure gordon and deng would go for him and not sure about Tyrus Thomas.)

Only trade him if you can get value for him. There's no shortage of suitors. He brings too much $$$ to the Lakers. They're not going to trade him away because he called them bad names. Money talks, not trash talk.

I don't think so...Kobe is the main reason why the Staples Center is filled every time they have a game...so unless they can find a player to fill up those seats, I don't think they will trade him.

they say kobe can't win on his own? do you know who his teammates are? he carried them in the playoffs! in the west! if lakers were in the east they would have a chance just like lebron. look at paul pierce, ray allen or KG & other superstars who didn't even make the playoffs! can't trade kobe.he's the best player & there is no equal value! just trade bynum for kidd or o'neal..just make the team better!

They should trade him, not becasue of what he said but becasue of what it all means. Obviously he's not happy where he is and how can anyone think that if he stayed in L.A. that he would give 110% to a team that he had publicly admitted was not good? His teamates probably don't want to play with him and he dosen't want to play there. get rid of him.

trade him for who? no one will trade a superstar for him..he is not worth another superstar,it is proven he cant win on his own.and no one will trade their whole team for him, maybe in 2 years when he is near the end of his contract he might go to the east for a good player and draft pics, but untill then though he is very good his value does not reflect what they would need to get in return, and besides all the kobe hype basketball higher ups who have knowledge of the game know that he is very overated.
