Top 3 QBs:
1. Peyton Manning- Colts
2. Tom Brady- Patriots
3. Carson Palmer- Bengals

Top 3 RBs:
1. LaDainian Tomlinson- Chargers
2. Larry Johnson- Chiefs
3. Frank Gore- 49ers

Top 3 WRs:
1. Marvin Harrison- Colts
2. Steve Smith- Panthers
3. Chad Johnson- Bengals

I wanted to put Donovan McNabb at #3, and I do think he is the 3rd best QB in the league, but with all his recent injuries, we havent been able to see the real McNabb, so third place goes to Carson Palmer, although I do think Palmer will eventually overtake McNabb.

I also wanted to put Steven Jackson at #3, but he is more of a receiving type back, and I thought Frank Gore was a better pure runner than Jackson.

The top three skilled players on offense currently in the NFL has to be based the position they're playing and what you require out of them as a player.

The Quarterbacks:
1. P Manning (Colts) simply because at this time he is constantly a staple at the top of the league competing for the NFL title; last year was his first title and we look to see more; plus the way he controls his offense and always makes the opposing defense counter-punch rather than attack is key.
2. T Brady (Patriots)
3. D McNabb (Eagles)

(The future after these three is C Palmer (Bengals) and D Bress (Saints))

The Runningbacks:
1. L Tomlinson (Chargers) simply because there is no other runningback that requires a defense to take away every facet of what he is able to do from running, recieving, throwing, blocking, etc. He is without a doubt the most complete tailback in the NFL; and though he has not won a Championship yet, his consistency is unmatched by any other player playing the same position.
2. L Johnson (Chiefs)
3. S Alexander (Seahawks)

(The future after these three is R Bush (Saints) and S Jackson (Rams))

The Wide Receivers:
1. T Owens (Cowboys) simply put, there is no other physically dominating reicever with as much baggage to overcome with changes at the key position of QB that has produced more on the field than this guy. I know everyone is about to start disagreeing with the names such as M Harrison, T Holt, C Johnson, and even R Moss. And to you, I would say name their QB's and tell about the QB-WR relationship. It is commonly said that teammates or in the case QB & WR has to be on the same page. In TO's case not so. Even with all the drops and questionable off the field antics, on Sunday between the lines the opposing DB and Defense accross from him knows what they're getting from TO, an all out WAR.
2. M Harrison (Colts)
3. T Holt (Rams)

(The future after these three is C Johnson (Bengals) and A Boldin (Cardinals))

I'm not saying my choices are correct, but this is just my opinion.

One Love, KJ

Top in each category

QB

1) Peyton Manning- 49 TD's in a season, finally won a Superbowl! He's the best right now.
2) Tom Brady- With 3 Superbowl rings, who can go wrong?
3) Carson Palmer- He's got the best spiral in the league, and he'll do extremely well this season

RB

1) LT- Broke the record with the most TD's in a season, and amassed 1,800 yards as well.
2) LJ- Had 416 carries last season, and didn't get hurt! That's amazing in itself, but he's a great runner.
3) Stephen Jackson- He is a tank, and will only get better with time.

WR

1) Marvin Harisson- He has been lights out every time he steps on the field with the Colts. He is a definite HOF.
2) Ocho Cinco- He can out run a horse by 7 paces for a charity race? Chad Johnson had 1300 yards last season, but he could very well have 1500 this season.
3) Steve Smith- His hands have glue on them. I don't think he'll have a really productive season with Carolina this year due to the QB situation, but we'll see.
