Like God I would leave it were it is, in the past, life's far too short for regrets, you have to move on from the past to be able to live in the future.

In 1742, Martha Ann Bacon dropped a shilling and it rolled under a cart. On trying to reach it, she slipped and broke a tooth on the uneven road. Because she had to see the local equivalent of a dentist as it was hurting too much for her to bear, she had to part with another five shillings.
Having lost six shillings, she was unable to afford her fare to the new world and didn't meet one Richard Payne on the voyage. As a result, they didn't fall in love and have many children who also went on to reproduce.
Had she not dropped that shilling, she would have gone to America and the person I now call the PSYCHO EX SISTER IN LAW would never have met my brother and created a ten year hole in his life.
