Whitesnake had a great run of hits, but Aerosmith is a legendary band. Aerosmith gets my vote....because my train kept a rollin' all night long!

While I think Whitesnake had some punchier,more melodic,catchy songs,,like"here I go again"..I have to give this one to aerosmith.....The reason is because I cant stand to see a great band finally find their "groove"then split up and try to make some funky,stupid music that they think people will buy,just because they WERE in a popular band ONCE.....
Whitesnake was just begining to find that sweet spot and could have been as big as gnr,or metallica,,but they got greedy,or power hungry and forgot all about the music.....
My hat is off to aerosmith for all the years of great music,While it might not have been as trendy,or in your face as whitesnake,,,,I will take longevity over flash in the pan any day........
