It is work, but you never see it that way. It's a never ending adventure that gets more and more complex along the way.But the mystery of it is that you love every second of it and never want it to end.

No, love isn't meant to be hard. It does take effort, but that effort should be put into doing the little things that make each other happy and keeping things fresh. Not energy put in to trying to fix the same problems that continue to arise over and over. A good couple should be able to talk about any issues and come up with a solution that suits them both with minimal arguing.

Those things for which I do for family and friends in the guise of love is not hard at all. I take joy in knowing that I am in some way giving something of myself to them whether in laughter, a gift, a meal, or just spending time together. when my children were younger, there was alot of work involved...but it was never a case of having any regrets. Here again...God blessed me with them to care for..and the love that they returned more than made up for the work that I did to provide them with a home, clean clothes, warm meals,etc...My b/f...doesn't ask me for anything...and yet I find myself baking yeast bread, zuchinni bread, cakes, and cookies to surprise him with. I've sewn him quilts, cooked meals, etc..and none of it felt uncomfortable or like work.

There's no work in it at all for me. When I fall in love, my love takes over and I give the relationship and my lover all. It is easy.

it's pretty dang easy to fall in love.
it's finding the right person.
that's hard to come by.
