I would say take acting classes and try to get on as a Movie Extra. You are pretty far from the Action. Most of the stuff in happening in the San Fernando Valley(Burbank) and Holly Wood.Do not pay money to agencies who offer to get you work and watch out for people trying to sell Photos. You do need good Head shots but look out for PHOTO MILLS who steal your money. No honest agency will charge you more the $10 for a snap shot for there records. You really need a car, unless you have some one to drive you all over the place.

It is tough to get an agent. To get an agent you have to have had some parts and to get parts you need an agent? You have to go to OPEN CALLS with a Head Shot and resume of what training you have had , Like school plays etc

Most of all you have to get to know people and work it.It is really tough to get a break, luck has a lot to do with it(being in the right place at the right time).

I would say start by trying to get on a Movie or TV set as an EXTRA, these are the people in the background of scenes. You can meet people and find out what's going on.Central Casting in Burbank is a good agency (one of the largest in town) You have to bring an adult with you to sign up.I think it's $10 to sign up?

GOOD LUCK!

PS. An open call is for a part that they will see who ever shows up, no invite needed. You have to look for these calls in the TRADE PAPERS.
