I wouldn't listen to the weather forecast in advance. I checked last week and we here in N.Ireland where to have showers for next 10 days. at the minute my skin is peeling cos I got sun burnt last thursday and it has only started raining today 10 days later.

In my experience it will often be the total opposite of the long-term forecast.
Let's be honest. We cannot accurately predict much more than 48 hours ahead.
And probably will never be able to. (There are so many unknown variables!)
