who has the right away at say a stop sign, an ambulance or a federal postal truck?

does the emergency vehicle have it because of the emergency ie: flashing lights.....
or does the postal vehicle because it is a federal vehicle and not a local?

You mean right of way. If the ambulance has flashing lights and or siren, then it has the right of way. If both vehicles arrive at the same time, then the right of way is given to the vehicle on the right; hence RIGHT of way. Example: If postal truck arrives, and ambulance is on right, ambulance has right of way. If postal truck is on right, it has the right of way. Hope this helps.

an ambulance has the right away so they can get to the emergency on time.... the postal truck may also have a timed schedule but they can spare a few seconds to help maybe save someone's life.
