I'm insecure about certain areas of my body. I think it's learned. After years of living in your own skin, there are certain things you love about yourself and certain things you fixate on as less-than-desirable. (for me it's my breasts). Even when my significant other tells me he likes what he sees, I still have insecurities. I think over time I could learn to be comfortable with certain areas of my body, but I would kindof have to "retrain" my own thinking.
I think it's also learned, in general, to be embarassed about most nudity. It's mostly cultural how much clothing is appropriate.
Although I think that the most private areas (specifically areas which excrete human waste) are naturally a source of embarassment to be seen by the general public. I think that's why people don't like to be naked. Other than that it's just a cultural or temperature/protective issue.

Not really, although the reaction from people can turn embarrassing. I think it's all learned. My parents never made a big deal of being seen naked or seeing me naked, so I did not learn to fear it (it seems for most people is more a fear than anything)

Yes, I am. And it is all learned. Our conditioning is such that showing even a part of cleavage, intentionally or unintentionally, becomes an embarrassment. It is mostly other people's reaction which is at the base of it all. Those tribes which are not exposed to civilisation live in the natural form and nakedness is not an issue at all with them...

Well it depends on who is there and what we are doing. If it were for art purposes then no... but depends on the people and place... I think that this is learned because people in tribes even to this day do not see nudity as offensive but as a part of life and who they are... It is much more comfortable naked anyway isn't it? :D

1) Usually yes, but it depends on the persons surrounding me, on the purpose of my nakedness, the environment and circumstances.
2) I think it's partially learned, partially natural. Natural because even if we were born again in a world where clothes and the concept of clothes don't exist, there would still be a certain instinct inside of us indicating us that certain areas of our body are supposed to be intimate. There would be a certain tension and certain factors that would give us subtle, unconscious clues. As we'd evolve and develop, we'd gradually become aware of it.

1. Yes
2. Natural. There were five girls in my family. No boys, but we never paraded around naked or even nearly naked in front of each other. No one ever told us not to. We just didn't.

nope, and natural. embarrassment is learned. being comfortable with and within one's own body is totally natural.
we all ran around naked as babies and loved it. have you seen a naked baby run around the house? they're on top of the world.
stop buying into what the television is telling you to look like.
love yourself.

well it depends on the circumstances. if i'm with my b/f or in the locker room at school being naked doesn't bother me. now if i have to be naked in front of a guy doctor it embarrasses me. it doesn't have anything to do with being embarrassed of my body, cause i'm not. i just don't like random guys seeing me naked.

Depending on the audience. Hahaha!
I think its learned. Though it isn't really evil to be naked (depending on the reason), we are brought up to think believe that showing it off is taboo.
I think its also to help men avoid temptation.
