I've lived in the south most of my life and hate this stuff. It's like Hee Haw 2007. Is it really funny or is the south just not ready for Steven Wright, Zach Galifianakis, etc. Git-R-Done?

Like all comedy, somethings are funny, some are not. What may be funny to one person may not be funny to another.

I love the show and you are entitled to your own opinion. I am from the north-east and I was raised a blue collar girl. So, you might be a redneck if you say things like Git-R-Done while making love with Lynyrd Skynyrd music in the background or things like "Here's your sign".

If you can't laugh at yourself, then you don't have a sense of humour.
Larry the cable guy is funny as hell but he's also the kind of guy that you can talk about politics and world issues with and get intelligent answers.
His stage persona is one of being an exaggerated red neck, and that's what's funny! There's a little bit of truth in all of it, but there's a whole lot of funny in all of it too!
I love all 4 of these guys.... Tator salad.... he is off the leash funny! When he talks about his grandmother... or being in a bar... this guy is raw!
Lighten up and enjoy all aspects of who you are... Southern boy and a guy that enjoys the finer things in life! It's good to laugh at yourself.

Obviously, different people will have a different sense of humor. Maybe the people you know aren't into it, but I don't think you can speak for ALL the Southern states and areas within those states. I'm very entertained by it, and think it's funny :)
