According to relativity, it is possible to travel to the future, because of an implication called the twins paradox. NASA has demonstrated this on a very small scale using atomic clocks.
Also according to relativity, time travel to the past is not possible because it would require travelling faster than the speed of light, which requires an infinite amount of energy. So that is proven mathematically but of course you cannot demonstrate an impossibility. However, think of it like this...if people were ever going to be able to travel to the past, then wouldn't there be people from the future showing up among us?

Yes, but only forward.
Everything is going forward in time anyway, but not everything is going forward at the same rate.
Clocks on the Mars rovers run at a slightly faster rate than clocks on Earth because of Mars' weaker gravity and Mars' slower orbit.
You've probably heard about the dangers of creating a paradox if you go back in time.
Well, a paradox is an impossible state of affairs, so nothing can create a paradox.
This is why it is impossible to go back in time.

Speaking for myself, not really. But have you ever read "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens? The scene to which I refer is the one in which the Ghost of Christmas Past shows Scrooge the scene from his childhood and tells him he cannot interact with the people from his past, as they are only shadows. This is probably the model along which time travel would take place, i.e., you could only observe the time frame visited.

Yes - we are going forwards in time all the time. By general relativity, the speed at which we go forward in time might even vary! As time goes on, things change; this is a clear indication that we're all traveling in time.
The better question is whether or not we can travel backwards in time.

Time travel is an interesting concept. The idea fascinates me. I think most of us have experienced a longing to go back in time and change something we did not like whether it be a comment we wished to reclaim, a moment we wished to recapture, etc...
Alas, it's existence seems doubtful except in our own imagination. To that end ,Quantum Leap is one of my all-time favorite series, and while not directly related to this question, I see why people long to believe in possibilities of this.
For me myself as a Christian, I have no desire to wish time travel as true. To me time travel is as mentioned above such as in the case of Quantum Leap(a scientist traveled through time, "...seeking to set right what once went wrong...") is a noble concept and human desire connected with imagination. For me, time travel is a sentimental exercise of invoking memories: a favorite song on the radio, a favorite tv show, a favorite quote in a book. Like Dorthy in The Wizard of Oz I realize that my own heart's desire may initially travel out of this realm but always in the end comes back to my heart's consciousness. A corny, non-scientific answer? Perhaps. Let me just say, however, that I truly believe dreams are speakers to our souls. In your dreams, you can travel anywhere. And the realization of one's dreams are affirmation of sometimes traveling outside of our comfort zones.
Moreover, if a dream does not come to pass, it does not mean one's journey has ended. Every one has a purpose and gifts to be used for the Lord. Traveling back in time: select a history text or relevant piece of fiction. It may not quench you thirst completely or answer all questions, but maybe you can plan to visit one or two of those places. That is not so far out of the realm of possibility.

It's possible, but impossible for humanity to comprehend. It's meant to be and I hope nobody ever finds out about time travel because humanity can never handle the smart decisions.

Totally possible.
If someone can invent a machine that can open a wormhole, the possibility is endless.
Wormhole not only have access to other wormholes anywhere in the world in any spatial dimension, it can also access the time dimension.
It might even be able to access other dimensions that you can only find in your Quantum Physics class.

Right now I am traveling through time at a rate of 60 seconds per minute.
It is a very interesting topic. I will be back to look at the other answers.

yeah..though it'll be quite complicated...i think string theory has the key
by the way the time machine is being developed by a Brazilian and an Indian
there is more risk to time travel than wat meets the eye
it cud be that u can change the future...or even more pathetic do something which will destroy the universe
yeah and its closely related to teleportation
