I've been on it for 4 yrs and I want to get prego now but I want to know about how long it will take before I will be able to. I had a friend that took the pill and it took her a few years after she got off. Any ideas? I only have about 7 days a month to try due to the fact that my other half works off shore.

Everyone's different. It can take up to a year. How long you were on it is a factor.

It depends on the woman, which pill, how long she was on it, etc. Some women take years, like your friend, some get pregnant right away. I was on the mini pill and it took three months for me to get pregnant, and I was charting my cycles. My cycles were always pretty normal before, but were really long once I came off the mini pill, so I think charting really helped me get pregnant that 'soon'. totally depends on "your body". Some people get pregnant if they miss one pill.. it took me 17 months to get pregnant, with charting and temping.. i just wasnt ovulating well until then.

took me and my wife 7 yrs. no lie. but we also learned that trying to plan a pregnancy did not work. we tried alot of quickies. we now have two girls.
