I am 32 weeks pregnant and am going to be induced around 36 weeks due to pre-eclmapsia, on that note and since its gettin close to D day, i just have a few questions, since being pregnant i have got whats considered a happy trail? docs said its normal due to increase in hormones, but will this go away or should i shave it?
lately i have been having, not so much pains, but discomforts at the top of my uterus, mostly when i bend over, or roll over at night, its strange? i've heard this could just be my uterus stretchin out and even said something to my doc and she dont seem to be worried, can anyone else relate?
also does breast feeding really burn calories? i plan on doing it either way, but just wondered if this was a myth? thanks ladies, sorry if they're annoying questions! at least I didnt ask am i pregnant :P

I have had mild pre-e since i was 22 weeks, it hasnt progressed and I have been on bedrest since then. Its such a bummer but the outcome is gonna be well worth it! these were just some ? i had, and I think I should wait to shave it because if its at all possible it'll just go away i dont want it to come in thicker and blacker?

I had those same pains at the beginning of my seventh month. My obgyn told me to go to a medical supply store and buy some kind of belt, I cant remember what it is called sorry. But it sits right under your belly and lifts and supports. As far as breastfeeding yes it does help you get your figure back, and is a very rewarding experience. But about the hair I truly don't know which would be the best to do. If it was me I would wait until after I had the baby and then wax or shave. Congratulations and good luck!

i was induced at 36 wks 3dys with mild preeclamsia and high blood pressure and i was induced a month before my actual duedate if it gets any worse they will do an emergency c-section on you cause with your pressure being high you will not only put you in danger but your baby i would relax and stay off your feet as much as possible also your child is going to be born a month premature so you have a tough road ahead of you as it is so i would just relax and stop worrying about the small stuff secondly yes you can burn calories while breatfeeding but if your child doesnt take you will have to supplement with formula and the breast or just formula whatever works out best for you in the long run i would listen to what the dr says as well cause if they put you on any type of bedrest you have to do it no matter what i was on moderate bedrest for a week and it sucked but it had to be done

Yes, breastfeeding burns calories and helps to lose any excess weight you may have gained during pregnancy. That's not a myth.
The happy trail may or may not go away. It usually does, but whether or not you shave it is a personal choice.
The pain and discomfort in your uterus -- especially during activity -- was also experienced by my wife. She would get sharp pains in her lower ribcage too. It's all normal.

1. just shave it yes alot of abnormal things are normal during pregnancy
2. it is normal for your body to have pain and discomfort.
3. Breast feeding may burn calories but it's nominal
4. get the book what to expect when your expecting it answers most of this and more.

I was always induced early for pre-eclmapsia also, and I have four very healthy children. I also had a happy trial with my boys and it went away after I had them. You will just get more uncomfrotable as you get farther along. I did'nt know that I could ever feel so sore and crappy. Well you will get thruogh it I promise. Congrades on your new one and the best luck.
