If I had a flying Carpet, I would be in Hawaii, because I read and seen brochures, where it shows the Island, breathtaking, and I am an avid Gardner at heart I sure would like to bring home some of the plants that are there like the Orchid.

Disregarding the complexities of real life one would face if they had such an opportunity, I'd be flying through outer space, enjoying the breathtaking view of the moon and stars, and Earth too :). When I'm done with that, I'd fly across all the countries in the world and discover all kinds of people with all kinds of cultures, and learn all kinds of things from them. In the evening, I'd fly towards the horizon towards the setting sun. as And at night I'd fly back home to my bed and stash the carpet in a safe, secret place.

Bless your heart for asking this question and my answer would be "of course that would be India"
BUT that's a dream for me, though I am born and bought up there, I cannot think of it, because you have to have money, carrier, business, property, and I don't have any of this.
I don't know whether to be proud of being Indian or be ashamed?
I was fortunate that my brother sent me a ticket and I came to this country after my divorce, or else I don't know what I would have done?
Maybe I would have become prostitute? OR maybe I would have commit suicide, those were my only TWO choices and options.
Because I came to America, I managed to survive, BUT I still would want to go back to India, that can happen, only "IF" I would win a lotto or had a flying carpet, which would be only a dream, a hope and my fantasy, its sad.........:(
At the same time, I feel, because I am in America, I have survived, makes me sad, when I think of all the women that die, burnt and become prostitute, do you blame them?
No! I would certainly not, because I have gone through this path, and my heart breaks, I see myself in them, perhaps I would have been one of them.......:(

I had a flying carpet once. Me and a friend through it out a two story window into a dumpster! I was in Portland Oregon at the time!!

I can't think of any place I'd rather be than where I am right now. Home. Solitude. Content. The only things I hear are the occasional train whistle far distant, that big ole bullfrog, & wind chimes, & my cat making sweet little sounds in her sleep. The community of lake birds silent. & after a very warm day, cool breezes stirring the blinds on my window.

I would be on Yahoo Answers, hoovering on my carpet, just close enough to the wireless network so I could maintain a signal.
