I am thinking about having a BBQ and then grab a blanket and go lay under the stars with my husband and kids and watch some fireworks.

I'll be going to my sisters for a huge barbecue they have yearly with about 200 friends and family members , they have a huge fireworks display also in their backyard and it's pretty impressive for a private display . I look forward to it yearly and see many people I don't see so often it's great .

My best friend and I were going to also have a BBQ and invite some people over and then all get together and go out and watch the fireworks. I love the 4th of July.

Just about the same...the usual BBQ at the in-laws and fighting off mosquitoes while watching the kids do fireworks! Somehow you made it sound a lot more fun though! lol ;o)

I am going out on a boat on the Delta and watching the fireworks from there!
I just hate it when it falls on a weekday, getting up for work the next day is not easyâ¥j

We hope to have a picnic and then go see fireworks if the weather permits. We are in such a drought that fireworks may not be permitted because they could start fires.

I am fairly sure I will be working, hoping that people are responsible about the fireworks here. It is so dry from lack of rain anything is possible.
