No, we got hit only when we deserved it, the last time my father hit me I was 14 and I spilled a gallon of paint in the basement, I just left it there had I cleaned it up I would never have gotten hit!! The last time my mom hit me was the day before yesterday!! when I was messing with the spaghetti on the stove . ( yes I am 29 and my mother hit me) it was more like a small smack on my elbow she cant reach my face because I am a good 2 1/2 feet taller than her!!! ha ha.

Yes they did. They would hit me with the belt when i lied to them. I learned things the hard way. They do love me. But that's the discipline you get in Africa. They would hit me on my back and it was so painful.
