Well, yes and no. Yes, because if you respond to the question you must technically be awake. No, because people have answered "no" in an attempt to be funny. Also, no because sometimes people are technically awake, but they aren't all that alert. So they aren't "awake."

No. My husband sometimes says crazy stuff in his sleep and i ask him if hes really awake or just sleep talking. He usually just starts snoring at me. Tonight he was talking about the pillow stealing the desk (????) and told Adam (his brother who was not around) to cut it out.
