Tomlinson. Best running back in the league and he's not arrogant about it.

LT & Tom Brady and I'm a big fan of WR's, Chad Johnson, Calvin Johnson is gonna turn out tp be a really good WO and Terrel Owens...

But what trips me out about some of these questions and answers like this when someone ask whos your favorite player in the NFL and why? Or "Who's the best in the NFL and why?

There is no BEST player in the National Football League. They all got there by busting their azz on the field for hours and hours of practice.

Another thing I just can't understand is why alot of people want to jump on Peyton Mannings bandwagon because he has won "ONE" (underline that) Championship ever! And it took him what? 20 years of playing the game?

He's a great QB no question about it, but he is overrated. The COLTS "TEAM" wins a game. Not once last year did I hear anyone mention how excellant the Colts defense played. It was always Peyton Manning had a solid game, blah blah... ever though he threw 3 ints. If he wasn't for him they would have lost, blah blah,

Yeah whatever! But I guess Manning is his own team, eh? lol

I definitely would have to say that LT is a HUGE candidate for this position. He's probably going to break every single rushing record in the NFL and he's hands down the most athletic.

But you can't leave Peyton Manning out of this! He's on the path to becoming the best quarterback of ALL-TIME!!! Sure he whines a lot and kind of arrogant... but he's damn good. And as much as I don't like to admit it, the quarterback is the centerpiece for an offense! Plus, he already holds some major records and he has a Super Bowl ring... LT doesn't!

By the way, I'm a HUGE Bears fans... so I could care less about either one of these guys. So there are no biases in this answer... if I would answer it my way, I'd say Urlacher is the best! ha ha ha

Hands down LT right now because he can do it all. Of course run the ball, catch passes and pickup the opposing defense. He really improved on his defense reading and catching passes in the flat last year. Did I mention he can also throw for touchdowns?! So, overall LT can do it all. Just a side note, player with the best upside right now, Vernon Davis for the 49ers....2 years from now he'll be an "offensive" Ray Lewis. If you question my picks, I'm a die-hard Broncos fan so it's hard to say LT is the best but when I grow up I'll be able to say I saw LT in his prime.....like my Dad would preach about seeing Walter Payton and Jim Brown in their primes.

Tom Brady, He is the most Clutch player to ever play the game, he has more 4th quarter and overtime combacks and he made the playoffs by himself last year, their recievers sucked. they were terrible last year, In the playoffs they dropped over 3 td' passes that i coudl of caught. He is so underated he is better then peyton manning peyton is "so good" because he has all the itme in the world, where Brady doesn;t always get to have 5 minutes to decide where to throw, brady is Clutch and he is a guy you can depend on day in and day out to win you games, Peyton untill this year was a choke in the playoffs and in the playoffs he wasn;t all that great but true stars elevate their game when their teams need it Brady does this, and LT? Umm.. 1st round playoff exit you have to measure their skills in the big time games not the games everyone expects them to get 300 yrs and 3 rushing tds or 5 passing td's etc. So Brady Takes it.

LT has got to be the best in the NFL.... But my boy is a very close 2nd in my bookkkk.........Chad Johnson........You gotta love the guy.. Chad has had the most Recieving yards in the AFC 4 str8 years and last season he had the most yards in the whole NFL... and BTW there are many more years to come for this young all star...... Chad's a BE@ST

Tom Brady is the best. Just look at what he consistently does. We can talk all day about athletes and what they do with their bodies. Regardless of a players position on the field, the opponents he faces "phyiscally" matches up pretty even with him.
However, it's what's above the shoulders that counts. A brain is a powerful tool, and noone matches up with Tom Brady mentally, which makes him the best.
Regardless of the score, the time on the clock, the opposing teams record or his teams record, he plays like the old line says: "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings."
Winning is a frame of mind and Mr.Brady lives in that mind frame.

LT is a good answer, but i'd go with Peyton Manning

the Colts offense has been the best in the league for many seasons now and he's the biggest reason why... Now that he has the ring, there's no real knock against him.

He's just as dominant a QB as Tomlinson is a RB, and Peyton has been doing it longer and has led his team to more success.

peyton manning and i may i add ever, everyone talks about tom brady in the clutch and he has more rings and blah blah blah. dont get me wrong, hes very good, but peyton has much more responsibility and has MORE clutch wins, including the afc championship this past season. i mean every down he has 5 plays to shuffle through, then pick the best one against what the defense is showing. he has better numbers than any qb this far into their career in pretty much every category and is on track to have the best numbers in every category. so he had 3 ints in a game a time or two. that's like almost half of how many he throws in a season. i believe it was 8 this past season. plus, you are much more likely to throw ints when you are back against the wall playing from behind all the time. when the colts have all their starters on defense, theyre pretty decent. but due to injury, the defense isnt very good at all most of the time. if peyton had new englands defense, he wouldve won the last 6 super bowls. people always complain about peyton getting the credit when the colts win bc its a team game, but its perfectly ok to blame him for their losses and to say he sucks bc the TEAM hadnt won a super bowl yet. think about how many mediocre qbs have won a super bowl. i mean, he was going up against rex grossman... enough said

This is gonna sound strange, but I'd like to represent for my man Johnathan Ogden. Yes, I just voted for a lineman. Seriously though, he is probably the best left tackle--scratch that best offensive lineman of all time, and he rewrote the book on being a left tackle.

LaDainian Tomlinson because of his numbers, including his record for most rushing TDs in a season (06'-07'). Not to mention an MVP award.
