you know those little metal tops that come on soda cans? i have a bunch of those...they just look so industrial and unique, i was thinking there had to be SOMETHING i could do with them [i have a habit of twisting them off and putting them in the can]

anyone have any creative ideas about what i could do with these things? all answers are appreciated =]

make sure the sharp edges are filed off, weave ribbon in and out of them and make chokers and bracelets you tie on. you can make curtains this way too if you have zillions of them or a skirt, by running the ribbons through them and sew the ribbon strips onto a ready made skirt, or make a flirty skirt by sewing them only at the top at the waist band, and at the bottom sew the ribbon secure so the tabs wont fall off or tie a big knot in the end. they would be cool for dancing.

You know this is a good question, A lot of people collect pop tops for a hobby just to see how many they can get. I know one man who made a small fence around his garden it look so cool in the sun light, But the best thing I would do with them is save them up and give them to a charity like breast cancer or heart assoc. http://www.getgoodstuff.net

Use them as doorway hangers instead of a door. Like the bead curtains from the 70's.

tie them to colored thread or fishing line and hang many of them from your ceiling or a ceiling fan
