your wieght gain doesnt' have a refelction on the baby's weight. I gained 80 with first baby and she was 7'6. This ababy I have gained 65 lbs and he is over 9 lbs so far. Depends on the gender.. boys are usually bigger.. also when you give birth.. 38 weeks verses 41 weeks makes a difference

Honestly I wouldn't be worried about it at all. As long as baby's on target and your uterus is measuring on target you're good. I'm 24 weeks and I had the same thing happen---I lost weight and then worked back up to my pre-pregnancy weight and have now gained 4 pounds. I just had an ultrasound and the baby's size is normal, as well as my uterus is growing appropriately. The doctor's not worried, so I'm not worried. I think you'll gain at least another 5 pounds and probably have a somewhat small baby--7 lbs or so. Good luck!!

How much you gain during pregnancy has no effect on the babys weight. I think 30lbs would be about average but you have to take into consideration the xtra fluid, placenta weight, extra blood and fat stores needed to support bub and of course you put some on within yourself.

How much you gain has nothing to do with how big your baby is. The average baby weighs about 7 1/2 lbs.
Blood 3 pounds
Breasts 2 pounds
Womb 2 pounds
Baby 7.5 pounds
Placenta 1.5 pounds
Amniotic fluid 2 pounds
Fat, protein & other nutrients 7 pounds
Retained water 4 pounds

The weight you gain is no indication of your baby's birth weight. I gained very little weight while pregnant with my son (I was ill through much of the pregnancy) and he weighed 9 lbs 1 ounce.

The amount of weight you gain has no bearing on how much your baby would weigh. In other words, there's no way to tell based on your weight gain.

normally between 5 and 8lbs, then there is that "afterbirth" that comes out. don't know what that weighs. no matter how much YOU gain, that doesen't add to the babies weight. Sorry
