wouldn't remember it after, no recollections, no memories,would you still do it and why or why not?

No. I would not go.

The purpose of life is to learn, enjoy, experience, profit, suffer for a purpose.

To do something for no purpose is senseless.
Not if what I were going to be doing in this place meant something to me.

Not unless my purpose in going to such a place involved someone else, with whom I could accomplish something--friendship, admiration, thanks, sex, love, danger, that the other person would remember even if I did not.

I would not do it because after everything in life has settled down and I'm just a granny on her rocker, memories is all I'll have.

yes I would. It would be bittersweet for sure but 1/2 the fun would be the anticipation of the trip.

Sure. Granted I wouldn't remember it, but at least I would have experienced it.
