Myths and stories of "Little People" exist everywhere on the Earth. The natives of the Americas are NO exception to this. There are stories of little people in ALL of the tribes of BOTH North America AND south America. Most of us already KNOW of the Europeans myths of Little People and of Africa as well. Asian, Australia and New Zealand have their Little People myths as well. With SUCH a widespread mythology in common among ALL the peoples of the Earth there MUST be some basis in truth to the existence of the Fey (by whichever name you wish to call them).

I've heard about it in central America but different... like elves that put children under a spell so that the child follows them until the child is lost then the little people disappear

I have also heard about this and they also found proof of these people here in the United States too from a very long time ago, they existed here as well. No, I don't believe it was made up either because this is documented.
