But this is not written in proper form. It can be "reduced" and simplified into MCCXXV.

Even though it isnt written to standard, it does represent 1225. Its still a Roman Numeral, and it works nonetheless.

That doesn't represent a number.

CM = 900
CCC = 300
IX = 9
X = 10
VI = 6

But this is like saying nine-hundred three-hundred nine sixteen. That's not a number.

It would be CM+CC+C+IX+XVI, or
900+200+100+9+16=1225

It should be simplified as MCCXV....
