A movie about a kid who play's the Nintendo System"SNES"?

What's movie called he get's in a Super mario speed run contest.
if he wins he gets alot of money. he gots a power glove too! anyone know the movie i remember watching when i was kid on VHS!

"The Monk" is right - it was "The Wizard"

It was released in 1989, and the ending featured a "brand new game" - Super Mario Brothers 3!!!

It's "The Wizard" and it was NES, not SNES.
