Absolutely. We are perfectly made by God, so why wouldn't we be comfortable with ourselves? Having said that, I do believe in taking care of yourself, your skin and body, and using cosmetics and skin care regimes to enhance the natural beauty God has given us all.

No I'm not very self conscious, because I gave up on being a perfectionist. Sometimes I walk by a mirror and think I'm built like a tank (although it might not be true because a lot of people tell me I'm skinny and tiny?!) Then I decide not to care, because it's okay to not be perfect. I get self conscious about my personality mainly just when I think I've been too grumpy and sarcastic. Then I try to have a better attitude.

For the most part I am comfortable with me, but it took years to get here. I am 41 so I don't have to deal with a lot of the social pressures that someone who is 16 would. I am totally comfortable with my personality, but I am only 5'4 so when I am with someone who is 5'7 I feel short and dumpy! But when I am around a girl who is smaller I feel like a big ogre!!! Does that answer it? I guess I mean yes and no.

Totally. That's what determine a great deal of my routine & leisure + commuting decisions. I work out often etc. Plus, I'm male. According to my dad, men didn't used to checkout other guys the way women do. Men are increasingly being targeted by these marketing/cosmetics & performance enhancement products. Hair removal, plastic surgery, flat abs, bigger biceps. It's all financially motivated for commercial purposes.
You are certainly not the only one who's needs/wants are determined by mass media.

There are times when I think I'm the most amazing person in the whole entire world.
Other times, I feel that I'm the worst. I sometimes look at my eyes and I hate them. My hair color, my skin color, my weight, body fat and muscle, my penis size and the fact that i'm not cut, my facial definition, my pimples, my clothes, my finances, how many friends of mine (i have a lot) are actually real, there's a lot more.
I'm not bipolar though...lol

Heck yes, life would be better for sure if I changed my personality & looks. You're talking to a sociopath with low self esteem so there's no doubt about this 'yes'.
Small changes have huge impacts.

It takes many years for many people to become completely comfortable with themselves. We go through so many changes in the first 4 decades of our lives; child to teen to young adult to work to marriage to family to empty nest. Now that I have been through all of this and am in my fifth decade, I can honestly say that I am totally comfortable with myself. I am happy to be through the first 4 decades and into a more relaxed life rhythm.

The answer was yes to all of the above.
As I grew older.... I grew out of this stage. Most of us do.
I remember feeling that way. It's not fun. It's a poor self esteem. I have no quick answers for you. Just be 100% positive that you'll grow out of it.
Best of luck. You deserve it!
