So here it is, almost midnight and i coudlnt sleep becuase i felt like i was forgetting something, because im usually stuck to a strict schedule. Anyways i just took it, but is it going to affect my period at all? I almost missed a whole day but i didnt quite, haha.

my pill booklet says to take one as soon as you remember. Then continue on as usual. You may want to use protection if you need to and you may get spotting before you expect your period.
The booklet has a schedule to follow if you forget a day or two.
Read the booklet that comes with your pack girl. Or keep a copy around for next time you have a question.

I know cuz I freakin forget to take it all the time.

You took it more than 12 hours late so even though you took it you need to count it as a missed pill, and use a backup form of contraceptive for the next seven days of active pills if you are sexually active. Missing a pill can cause a bit of spotting, but won't bring on a full period. Just continue taking your pills as normal and you will have a withdrawal bleed at the end of the pack same as usual.

They say if you forget a pill, take it when you remember, which you did. In the case of birth control pills, however, you could have a little breakthrough bleeding, but it shouldn't last more than a day or so, as long as you get back to your regular schedule. If you should happen to have sex, even though you don't plan to, you should use another form of birth control just in case. Sexual encounters frequently happen even when they're not planned, so it's always best to be prepared if you don't want to get pregnant.

Typically one day isn't going to hurt. Usually by day 3 of skipping pills is when it will effect you. It honestly depends on what week of pill you're on and what pill you're on. I would just suggest if you do decide to have sex use a condom for the next 7 days.

you don't have anything to worry to about! I never take my pill the same time and some days i forget to take it then i just dbl. the next day. You can start if you have gone about 2 or 3 days without taking it.

It is not optimal that you took it late but nothing to do about it now- probably will not affect your cycle though if it is a low dose you could spot a little.

Take it now, and use backup birth control for the next month, just in case.
