i just bought some AE artist jeans in short, and i'm pleasantly surprised by the length! I'm 5'0 (and half an inch) and these are almost the right length, like i don't need to cuff them. any other shorties out there with advice?

express jeans, but i really like designer jeans and i buy a ton and then take them to get altered for about 10 dollars each. much easier than shopping for short sizes.

try ann taylor loft. their inseam is usually 28 1/2". however keep this in mind, as you are under 5'4", you will very little luck finding jeans that will fit you in the length. Both my sister in law and I are 5'4" or less and both of us shorten nearly every single pant we buy.

You should really focus on the fit everywhere else in the pant. fixing the length is super easy. you can do it yourself or take to dry cleaner or tailor. should cost between $15 - $20 depending on the pant.

You will make yourself crazy if you try to search for the right length.

lol~ I'm 5'3" .. so I bet that extra inch matters seeing how the only jeans I have found that fit are duplex jeans by tyte in petite... and they fit me perfect.. (even my butt that is not proportional to my waist at all seeing how most jeans fit my butt are too big on the waist.. I blame the babby weight.. and he is 2 lol) Maybe you should check out the kiddie section? That's where I looked before my azz blew up in size.
