Of those 4, Jon Stewart. I prefer his news satire to Colbert's news opinion satire, probably because I never watch actual news opinion. Letterman lost his edge years ago, Leno never had one (unless you count his chin).

duckgrabber: Stewart and Colbert are usually, but not exclusively, liberal. Leno and Letterman take great care to be politically neutral.

The funniest political satirist, in my opinion, is Jon Stewart, even if I don't agree with what he says 90% of the time. He can still make things extremely funny.

Jon Stewart by far! He is the funniest guy on tv to do the mock news, and at the same time inform you about what is going on! He is really great!

How come all the ones you mentioned are liberal ones? Letterman isn't at all funny--he's pretty mean spirited deep down. Leno is the better guy and is consistently more funny of the group you mentioned.
