He doesn't value life - he only values his own opinion and his image. And both are rather poor. . .

Bush is the sorriest person that ever was hatched out. He could careless if the troops have Armour or not, he cares about no one. Laura has cancer on her leg , but you see they don't need any help like other poor people even wealthy people benefits from Stem Cell Research to cure these terrible diseases.
He vetoed the Stem Cell Research, that proves just how much he cares about this country. It would help children with cancer that are in St. Luke's that Danny Kaye started, you can in go if you have money or not. People donate money for those babies and he want let Stem Cell Research help them
God has a way of punishing people like him and his wife has already developed cancer that will come back at anytime. Have you seen them, poor kids that laying there dying. Yet , she sits on her a** and want tell him to help other people. She is just as bad as he is , he stated only his wife and dog can tell him to do things and he will do it. A dog can you imagine, I love dogs but I also love other peoples lives. Him and her both are the scum of the earth and the lord will make them pay for not helping other people with all these terrible diseases.. I hang my head in shame that we let people that low, steal the White House from normal human beings.

Probally because the previous administration failed to buy body armor for any soldiers during thier 8 years in office.
Thats right, Clinton didn't buy body armor for anyone.
So Bush had to start from scratch in having body armor suitable for the military, researched, developed and then tested.
Then they had to issue contracts and get the body armor manufactured.
Then issue it to the soldiers.

Actually, if you read the reports, they were 85% done with that project when it hit the press. That's like going up to someone who is in a program to lose weight, but hasn't finished it, and saying, "See! They don't care about losing weight? They're still fat!"
Silly.

The Clinton White House dismantled the military ; and people like John Kerry voted for doing so . This president values lives - that's why there is a war on terror . Or don't we count here in the U.S. ?

Hugh - you have to understand - life is only intrinsically valuable until it is born. After that the only value of life is the return it brings for corporate America.

Because the military was so badly depleted after years of neglect under the Clinton regime. Defense spending has steadily increased under Bush and a portion of that is for body armor (which is a miniscule part of the military's problem these days).

Body armour can be a hindrance in many situations. Take it from someone who wore it. Its not as great as its made out to be.
Carrying around 80 pounds of gear makes doing your job almost impossible.
If you need to bail from your vehicle you are pretty much screwed.

A body armor against a IED or a RPG are useless in case you didn't know it... Those two things are the things that killed the most American soldiers...

Bush values nothing except his own image in the mirror where he repeats over and over, "I am the presdent, I am the presdent, I am the PRESDENT".
