I was lucky enough to see the Original Broadway Cast of TMM. Sutton Foster is just an amazing performer. She can truly do it all -- sing, act, dance, and make people laugh (you know, because dying is easy...)

The show itself is very strong, with a great score and wonderful roles. It is set in 1922 NYC, and touches on subjects such as feminism, racism, and, of course, love and relationships. It sounds like it could be heavy... but it's pretty light.

I think you will enjoy it very much!

Yes, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a great show! It's very cute, upbeat, and energetic.

To find out more, try wikipedia, or listen to clips of the cast recording on itunes or amazon.

I saw the tour in Providence, RI a few years ago, and loved it. The music is a lot of fun.

"Got It Bad" is one of my favorites. "Gimme Gimme" is the best song in the show if the Millie you're seeing has a strong voice.

It takes place during the 1920's and is a classic love story. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

It's very cute when done well. I don't think you should find out too much ahead of time and go in with expectations. Just go to see the show.

I think you'll have fun :-)
