you need to reinstall your motherboard drivers. if you have an Nvidia chipset, go to nvidia.com and redownload the chipset drivers. if you have ATI, go to ati.com. If you have a premade computer, say from Dell, HP, Compaq etc go to their website and look for the download drivers section.

you are probly using a slimmed down copy of windows xp that has no generic drivers. the solution is to either find the recovery cd or dvd taht came with your computer or find the specific drivers for the sound and graphics adapter in your computer. you could try as a last measure use windows vista. it does most of the work for you

It looks like you are only running with the default, basic drivers.

You should have another CD that has all of the drivers that are particular to your motherboard. If not, you need to determine the motherboard identification and then download the drivers from the net.

Ok. First of all you need to install the drivers for your video card and for your sound card. If you know the manufacture of your cards, go to their website and you can find the drivers. If it is a part of your computer, then just go to the website of your computer manufacture and download the appropriate drivers.

Good luck
