3a² + 2a²b + 3ab² + 2b^3 =
a²(3 + 2b) + b²(3a + 2b)

so it doesn't factor, unless that first a² should have been a^3. in that case

3a^3 + 2a²b + 3ab² + 2b^3 =
a²(3a + 2b) + b²(3a + 2b) =
(a² + b²)(3a + 2b)
