In college we did "Agnes Of God" and my professor was an expert in creating stage blood. The color and density were perfect. So, when Agnes bled it looked very realistic. With all the expertise of professional effects people why is the blood so thin, runny, and bright red?

to draw your attention in, it catches your eye and most people think that real blood is exactly like that, most of the people that watch WWE probably don't care either, not that they would know the difference ;)

If it looked too real, they would probably have to get clearance from the censorship board. Everyone knows that it is faked. Having it too realistic would ruin the entertainment for the younger audience.

Because the blood is more drastic when it flies through the air.

actually, i think that is real blood. i believe that they cut themselves with razors they hide in the clothing or what not. i was told that some wrestlers do that in "backyard" wrestling.
