Nantucket is just a small island with a small village off the Massachusetts coast. No college.
There are plenty of colleges in Massachusetts, but on the mainland. It is about 75 miles from where the Nantucket ferry comes ashore to Boston or Providence, RI and those cities have a long list of colleges including the Ivy League schools Harvard and Brown, and other great schools such as BC, BU, Tufts, MIT and a long list of others.

There are a lot of things to do in Nantucket. I've been staying at my uncle's house for every summer. I'm not really sure about schools since I live In Foxboro. There are some malls but mostly small plazas everywhere. It's always crowded in parking lots but I almost doesn't make a difference. It's really fun to just walk around and see all the people. The beaches are great!! The waves are really high and gets kinda annoying because it's always knocking everyone down. All the houses are really nice down there and it's almost like everyone knows who everyone is. I hope this help! :)
