a) the domain is all x for which the function is defined, which in this case means all x except 6, which would make the bottom 0, and division by 0 is not defined.

b) get x intercepts when f(x) = 0
0 = (x+2)/(x-6)
0 = x + 2
x = -2

c) get y intercepts when x = 0
y = (0+2)/(0-6) = 2/-6 = -1/3
